Definitely the best place on george street for cocktails! Service is brilliant Loras amazing at her job I always feel looked after when I go here no matter how busy they get they find a way to deliver a fantastic guest experience and the food is very yummy! My go to spot to get my cock and tail on thank you for veing brilliant guys :)

Can't rave about this cocktail bar enough had a great experience here I was worried that because I hadn't booked I'd be turned away but they found space for me and even though they were clearly very busy they turned the tables extremely well and handled the pressure like champs. We had a food allergen at the table which was handled with great care by Lora who just very brilliant and attentive and very funny. We had some fantastic cocktails almost too cute to drink! Cheapest place on George Street! Service was alot quicker than I expected it to be considering how busy it was! Massive thank you for a great night will definitely be back again soon! <3

Avoid, company need to review their recruitment. Especially with aggressive people in charge (apparently his name was Ross) who got extremely defensive and intimidating when we asked for the complaints procedure and to the speak with the manager.
We had a really disappointing experience at Slug & Lettuce Edinburgh, george street. We had booked a cocktail-making class with a group but arrived late
While the staff had kindly accommodated the rest of the group, which we were very thankful for, when my friend and I arrived, the person in charge was immediately rude and dismissive and refused to serve us for no valid reason.
We didn’t expect to join the class at that point—we only wanted to have a drink with our group. Instead of handling the situation professionally, they escalated things and even threatened to call the police when we simply asked to speak to a senior staff member. We were not aggressive or causing any issues, just trying to understand why we were being refused service. From that moment on, the staff wouldn’t even engage with us rationally, it was totally unnecessary.
We had an excellent time in Edinburgh, but I would strongly suggest avoiding this place. It was the only venue we visited where the staff were openly rude and unwelcoming. Do not recommend unless you want to be treated like dirt!

Half the bar isn’t serving. The other half is 7-8 deep.
One bar reserved for “boozy brunch” drinks only.
Table service was slow. Asked for a manager - our food and drinks took 2 hours to come. No manager appeared.
Can’t order to table using a waiter- have to use the app but WiFi is shit and no signal.
Food OK.
Not again.
